SAIGON ~ Annihilation EP (WWW III 1981)
Error sleeve variant with inside cover info printed on the front instead of the Saigon logo running diagonally. It never ends. Record was warped and has been flattened into a playable copy. There's some side-to-side jiggle on my stylus at 1.5 grams, but the wax plays through fine. Here's a short video of stylus movement along with full recordings of the A-side and B-side.

Intentionally misleading issue numbering on the cover. Despite saying #3, this is actually issue #2. Gotta love it. The Next, Ramones, Dils and all manner of Austin coverage.

With its over-the-top visuals and off kilter local coverage, few early punk mags can compare to Sluggo. Only six issues published in all, five of them in Austin. This is issue #4, the "Free Enterprise" issue from 1979. Features on the Huns, Next, Dils, John Cale and more. Rare especially in this fine condition!

SLUSH #2
A "desert island" punk fanzine if ever there was one! Published September/October 1980 by Masque proprietor Brendan Mullen. Really too many bands covered to name... Germs, Bags, Black Flag, Rhino 39, Fear, Alley Cats, Middle Class, Agent Orange and on and on. Alas, some buckling/moisture exposure and rusty staples but complete and no water damage that's particularly distracting. Price reduced accordingly.
