An absolutely incredible Summer 1980 swan song for this LA punk mag. Better than twice the size of any other issue they did. Blurbs and pics of dozens of LA bands, a Middle Class article, Crass interview, Philip K. Dick, Samuel Fuller and on and on. Excellent condition.

SLUGGO #3 (a/k/a #2)
With its over-the-top visuals and off-kilter local coverage, few early punk mags hold a candle to Sluggo. Only six issues published in all, five of them in Austin. Intentionally misleading issue numbering on the cover. Despite saying #3, this is actually issue #2. Gotta love it. The Next, Ramones, Dils and all manner of Austin coverage.

With its over-the-top visuals and off kilter local coverage, few early punk mags can compare to Sluggo. Only six issues published in all, five of them in Austin. This is issue #4, the "Free Enterprise" issue from 1979. Features on the Huns, Next, Dils, John Cale and more. Rare especially in this fine condition!

Page 7 includes a partial shoeprint (vintage, of course) in the upper right corner and light moisture staining on bottom of mag. Page 8 includes a great Darby photo with a mini-Crash on his shoulder. Supremely stupid!
