This first issue from Slash's second year. This September 1978 installment turns up far, far less frequently than most other issues. Features include Dils, Stranglers and Alternative TV and the usual great LA coverage. This is the only issue in the entire Slash run that is not a uniform size which makes its really annoying! Bottom right corner of blank area torn off. Folded once with some wear 'n' tear but complete.

With its over-the-top visuals and off-kilter local coverage, few early punk mags hold a candle to Sluggo. Only six issues published in all, five of them in Austin. Intentionally misleading issue numbering on the cover. Despite saying #3, this is actually issue #2. Gotta love it. The Next, Ramones, Dils and all manner of Austin coverage.

The last issue from 1981 that emerged after a move from Austin to San Francisco. This swan song includes a boardgame Rocky VII , the Game of Industrial Collapse (game pieces intact). Also of note in this 1981 finale: a full-page ad for the Fuck Your Wife "death tape" from a San Antonio outfit calling themselves the Butthole Surfers. Minty condition!
